Bin the Benches: Delivered

After months of campaigning to bin the benches in Albert Crescent, they have finally been removed!

At my recent Chingford Mount Crime Summit, the police, local businesses and your local Conservative Valley ward councillors made it clear these benches had become a hotspot for anti-social behaviour, including drug/taking, alcohol misuse, intimidation and even violence. 

That’s why, I have been pushing for the Council to remove the benches - which has now been delivered. 

This is a vital step to tackling crime on the Mount. 

But there is still more to do.
