For 100 years, this club has been a vital community asset, but now it’s future it at risk.
Soaring construction costs have left the club struggling to secure the funding needed to rebuild its much loved clubhouse.
I wrote to Lisa Nandy, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, urging her to ensure the West Essex Cricket and Football Club is included in the Government’s £100 million investment in grassroots sports.
