Chingford Mount Walk and Talk Meeting

Everyone deserves to feel safe in their local community. A visible police presence and firm action from the Waltham Forest Council are essential to restoring order.

In January, I joined local police for a walk along the Mount. It was clear that shoplifting and persistent anti-social behaviour in Albert Crescent are having a damaging impact on our local high streets. I know concerns have only rightly intensified following the serious but isolated incident at the Scorpion Bar on Hall Lane on 31 January.

I have since written to the Council to raise these issues and requested a meeting to press for clear, urgent action.

I remain committed to working with police, businesses and residents to restore safety and confidence in Chingford Mount.
