I had the pleasure of attending the Christmas Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club at the Green Man pub. I would like to thank Alister Martin, Dave Hale and Councillor Roy Berg for organising such an excellent event.
Since the initial meeting in 2021, with just 11 members, attended by myself, the local Mayor, and representatives from the three services, the Club has grown to more than 55 members. It has been a privilege to observe its growth and the development of a strong and supportive community.
I would also like to express my appreciation to Jenny Coomb of the Green Man pub for kindly hosting us.
