I was pleased to make my annual Christmas visit to the Chingford Delivery Office with Lead Customer Operations Manager Mitchell and Councillor Roy Berg to show my support for the fantastic postal workers during their busiest time of the year.
Over the Christmas season, Royal Mail handles twice as many parcels and letters, making this an especially demanding period for workers.
I would like to thank the Post Office and all postal workers for their continued hard work and dedication in ensuring that Chingford and Woodford Green’s parcels are safely delivered in time for Christmas Day.
