I’m thrilled to announce that construction has finally begun at Memorial Park!
As your Member of Parliament, I made a commitment to invest in our community and deliver on your priorities. For Memorial Park, local residents made it clear that a new community café and public toilets were a priority for our community.
Since 2022, alongside local Larkswood Conservative Councillors John Moss, Catherine Saumarez, and Sam O’Connell, I have been campaigning to improve Memorial Park. I successfully secured the funding from the MP Levelling Up Fund under the previous Conservative Government which is now being used to deliver these improvements to the park.
When completed, the park will include a brand-new community café, public toilet facilities, a large climbing net and resurfacing of all four tennis courts.
This is an important step forward for Memorial Park, and I’m delighted to see our campaign deliver significant improvements for local families and residents. Having accessible community parks are vital third spaces where families, friends, and neighbours can come together and enjoy.
This is important progress for Memorial Park, and I’m proud to see our campaign deliver real results for local families and residents.
