Last night, I joined many concerned residents at Redbridge Council’s public meeting on Broadmead Road Bridge at Sir James Hawkey Hall.
I was pleased to see residents finally have the opportunity to voice their frustrations about this prolonged closure. The closure of Broadmead Road Bridge, since July 2023, has been a daily nightmare for residents and our concerns must be considered by the Council.
I now look forward to the Council reaching a decision on a preferred rebuild option at the cabinet meeting on the 17th July. This decision with give strength to their bid for funding in the recently announced Government’s investment to improve and repair transport infrastructure across the country.
