Today, I was delighted to attend the 20th anniversary reception of the UK Parliament Teacher Ambassador Programme in the Speaker’s House.
It was lovely to meet Jennifer Sacks, a teacher at Woodford Green Preparatory School, in Chingford and Woodford Green, who was successful in her application to take part in the UK Parliament Teacher Ambassador Programme from 22–24 June 2026. This programme is a three-day development opportunity where teachers become partners of the UK Parliament Education and Engagement Team, hearing directly from Members and colleagues working across Parliament, as well as teachers from across the United Kingdom.
