I had the privilege of joining Ukrainian Action in Westminster to celebrate the departure of its 500th vehicle to Ukraine.
Since March 2022, this remarkable charity has delivered more than 500 vehicles across 99 humanitarian aid convoys, providing vital support to communities affected by the war.
As a Patron of Ukrainian Action and having driven a convoy to Ukraine last year carrying humanitarian aid and medical supplies, I have seen first-hand the impact of this work. These vehicles play a crucial role on the frontline, helping to transport essential supplies, and support emergency responders.
It was an honour to join the charity’s founders, volunteers and supporters to celebrate this significant achievement. These convoys are a powerful demonstration of the UK's unwavering support for the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom, democracy and self-determination.
I am proud to stand with Ukraine and to play a small part in this mission. Thank you to everyone involved for your continued commitment and solidarity.
