Dear local resident,

I am writing to invite you to my “Menopause Awareness Event” on Thursday 20th June between 1430pm-1630pm at Woodford Rugby Club (The Highams, High Road, Woodford Green, IG8 9LB).

On the day, we will be joined by Carolyn Harris MP (Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Menopause and leader of the Menopause Revolution in Parliament), Liz Earle (co-founder of Liz Earle Beauty Co) and Dr Alice Scott GP and Menopause Specialist. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and provide practical advice to support those who are going through menopause or simply would like find out more information. There will be a panel talk, with leading experts and clinicians followed by a Q&A session where you will have an opportunity to ask questions about your menopause experience, including symptoms and concerns. The panel discussion will cover a range of topics, including menopause in the workplace.

I am very pleased that a representative from the North East London Cancer Alliance will also be in attendance. Residents will be able to receive information on the day about to how to book a mammogram appointment locally and look out for early signs of Breast Cancer.

This event is free for members of the public to attend and light refreshments will be provided. There will be plenty of parking available at the venue.
