Future of Chingford Mount’s Nationwide Branch Secured
I am delighted to announce that the Nationwide Chingford branch will remain at 226 Chingford Mount Road, continuing to serve and support our local community.
This weekend, I visited the branch and met Nationwide representatives Martin Bolton, Muhammed Hadi, and Michael Belli to celebrate its long-term future in our community.
In-person banking services and cash access are vital for many residents, in particular for the older and more vulnerable residents, who do not use online banking.
I know all too well the concerns residents have shared about the closure of bank branches in our community, and I am therefore delighted that Nationwide recognises this need and has committed to remaining in Chingford.
With Nationwide in South Chingford and the Banking Hub in North Chingford, I am pleased that in-person banking services have been secured across Chingford for all residents.
