Wishing everyone across Chingford and Woodford Green a Happy New Year!
After 33 years as your MP, it remains a privilege to serve our community. This year I held 55 surgeries, handled over 14,000 cases, and hosted a range of community events bringing residents together.
This year, I’ve prioritised tackling shoplifting, with crime summits leading to improved anti-shoplifting measures, reported falling incidents, and successful convictions. I will expand this to other high streets in 2026 to ensure highstreets across Chingford and Woodford Green are not only safer but can thrive.
I remain committed to securing a hospital fit for purpose at Whipps Cross, reopening Broadmead Road Bridge, and investing locally. Thanks to £8.4m from the Levelling Up Fund, the refurbishments to Chase Lane Park and Rolls Park have been delivered with Memorial Park improvements coming in the new year.
This year, I was also honoured to join Ukrainian Action on a humanitarian convoy delivering vital aid to Ukraine. I’m proud to stand with the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom.
As your MP, I will continue to champion the issues that matter locally, nationally, and globally. Wishing you and your loved ones peace, strength, and a brighter 2026.
As always, my team and I are here to help you. Any comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to email me on [email protected]
Thank you for your continued support.
