After campaigning hard with the local community, CWU Union and conservative Councillors Michael Duffell and Sue Nolan to protect postal services in South Woodford, we were pleased to visit the interim temporary service while the Post Office seek a permanent solution.
The new temporary Post Office service operates from The Galleria, 180 - 182 George Lane, South Woodford, E18 1AY, offering a wide range of Post Office products and services.
Opening times: Mon - Fri 0900 - 1730 & Sat 0900 - 1230
The Post Office have confirmed to me that they recognise the importance of maintaining its services to the local community and are committed to restoring a Mains service near the current location of the old George Lane branch.
