This month, I joined Wear It Pink in support of Breast Cancer Now – the UK’s leading breast cancer charity – to Wear It Pink in Westminster. We're wearing pink to help change the future of breast cancer.
Now in its 25th year, Wear It Pink has raised over £45 million since 2002. The campaign’s fundraising has gone towards funding life-saving science and life-changing support for everyone affected by breast cancer.
This year’s Westminster event, which took place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, encouraged MPs from across the UK to wear pink in Parliament to raise awareness of breast cancer.
I was proud to join Breast Cancer Now in Westminster to support Wear It Pink and stand with everyone affected by breast cancer. Breast cancer touches the lives of so many people in our community and across Chingford and Woodford Green. And I was honoured to attend events to support the amazing work Breast Cancer Now is doing to make sure that by 2050, everyone with breast cancer will live and live well.
The event was a powerful reminder that there’s still work to be done to better support people living with this devastating disease across the UK.
Breast Cancer Now is calling on people across the UK to support its fundraising efforts to help improve outcomes for everyone affected by breast cancer. Inspired by Wear It Pink?
