Waltham Way Speeding - Consultation

Poor road safety and the speed of traffic has been a problem on Waltham Way for some time now and as you know, I have been consistently campaigning for improving road safety in Waltham Way.

I have listened to many of your concerns and following a public meeting which took place on 22nd July 2022, it seems, finally, there has been some progress.

Waltham Forest Council have been developing proposals and are now consulting on a traffic calming scheme. I have a number of concerns about the proposal, in particular the reduction in parking spaces available for residents. So I urge you all, to please take the time to respond carefully to ensure that your views are heard and so that we can work together with the local council and councillors to improve road safety in Waltham Way.

You can download the consultation document below.
